AVANTI PS 403
If your office goes through stacks of paper every day, the Avanti PS 403 Industrial Shredder is made for exactly that. It takes 35-40 sheets of 70 gsm A4 at a go through a 305 mm feed and cuts them to 8 mm at 11 metres a minute. The 110 L pull-out bin is big, so you aren’t stopping every few minutes to empty it. The cutters are special alloy steel, they sit out of reach for safety, and Avanti gives a 5-year warranty on them. The motor has overload and overheat protection, and if a jam does happen, the manual reverse clears it. The body is all metal and the machine is built to keep noise down. Paper clips and staples are fine, and it will also take one CD or one floppy disk. It suits banks, government offices, law firms and print shops. Power is 415 V, 1.1 kW.
